Retail is back on the rise with 2021 retail openings on pace to top annual openings from 2018 and 2019. Lower rents allow for the perfect opportunity to test new concepts like e-commerce, and expansion plans that were put on hold during last year’s pandemic are now being revisited. Among the expanding retailers is Toys R Us with plans to make their return before the upcoming holiday season.
